The Business Development Coordinator works under the guidance of the Director of Community Support focus on developing partnerships with local/ area businesses within the community to gain new contract work opportunities and implement an effective sales process that secures contracts that are appropriate to the skill levels and interests of appropriate participants employees. While also focusing on maintaining quality assurance processes, testing of products, and recording and analyzing of results gathered during product development. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
As a Business Development Coordinator, you will conduct sales calls in person throughout Spartanburg County and customer research, develop partnerships with local business to procure work opportunities to meet their business needs. Work closely with internal teams to make sure that customer needs are met in a timely manner. Conduct initial, annual, and periodic Time Studies to set work standards and pay rates for both piece rate work and hourly jobs. Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports, conduct business reviews/ analyze data for process and business relationship improvement. And other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE EMPLOYMENT SERVICE MANAGER
- Bachelor’s degree in business Marketing or a related field is required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial, business or service sales is preferred
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and business management software to produce professional and comprehensive reports, graphs, and data base information preferred
- Prior background working with the requirements of Special Minimum Wage provisions of Section 14 (c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act preferred
